Audi S7 Sportback - a novelty of the automotive market of Ukraine in 2012. Like many other models of the brand, in the name of which there is the letter S, the sports "sportback" already has a quattro permanent all-wheel drive system by default. In addition to it, the list of standard equipment includes a preselective robotic seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and an adaptive air suspension, which, paired with the proprietary Audi Drive Select system, allows the driver to choose not only the shock absorber mode, but also the steering wheel, engine and transmission.
Notable is the active noise reduction system in the cabin, consisting of four microphones hidden in the ceiling and recording noise inside the car. Electronics constantly analyzes its level and, if it exceeds the permissible limits, then sound begins to be broadcast through the speakers of the audio system, which has the opposite phase and dampens unnecessary noise.
Options for the Audi S7 Sportback include full LED headlights, a sports rear differential (actively combats understeer), carbon-ceramic brake discs, adaptive cruise control, night vision systems, 360-degree video surveillance, a head-up display, multimedia with Internet access, an audio system with 15 Bang & Olufsen speakers, as well as seats with dozens of electric adjustments, ventilation and massage.
As a power plant in the Audi S7 Sportback uses a V-shaped eight-cylinder engine with dual supercharging. The four-liter unit produces 420 hp. At the same time, the peak torque of 550 Nm is already available at the very bottom - in the range of 1,400-5,200 rpm. Start-Stop systems, which turn off the engine during stops, as well as Cylinder on Demand, which turns off half of the cylinders at low loads, help the engine save gasoline. According to passport data, for a hundred kilometers in a combined cycle, the Audi S7 Sportback, accelerating to “hundreds” in 4.2 seconds, can consume just over 10 liters of fuel.
