On the other hand, under the hood of the Audi S5 sportback is a V-shaped six-compressor engine that produces 333 hp. and 440 Nm of torque. Paired with the preselective “robot” S Tronic, which can not only count up to seven (number of gears) and unquestioningly obey the engine, but also effectively upset it, effectively regassing and switching to lower steps, the car accelerates to one hundred kilometers per hour in just 5, 1 second.

Quattro permanent all-wheel drive is standard on the Audi S5 Sportback. But an active rear differential, which turns understeer at corner exits into sufficient, is offered for a surcharge. Having ordered it, the “five” will learn to screw into turns and pass them not with a reset, but rather with the addition of gas.

Serial production of the Audi S5 Sportback has been launched in Germany.
