Audi S3 Sportback— all-wheel drive sports hatchback golf class. The model with the letter S in the name differs from the “civilian” modifications of the A3 by the Audi Magnetic Ride suspension lowered by 25 mm, which, depending on the road, changes the shock absorber settings, and if the driver wishes, it can work in one of the preset modes, for example, sports or comfortable.

In addition, the S3 has a sporty exterior and interior design, a steering wheel with a beveled base, and a 265-horsepower turbocharged unit is installed under the hood of the car. The peak torque of the two-liter engine is 350 Nm, available in a wide range - from 2,500 to 5,000 rpm.

With a six-speed manual to “hundreds”, the hatchback accelerates in 6 seconds, and with a six-speed robotic transmission in 5.6 seconds.

Sports modification Audi S3 appeared in 1999. Now in Ukraine the remnants of the second generation of the model are being sold, which was offered both in three- and five-door versions (Sportback). During 2013, a new generation will debut on the market, built on the basis of the third generation Audi A3 .

Serial production of the second generation Audi S3 Sportback was launched in Hungary.
