Audi TTS - Apparently, the time is not far off when the company will introduce a new generation of the model. After all, the current generation Audi TT, which became the second in a row, has been produced since 2006. Its sporty version, which debuted in 2008, features a 10mm lower suspension and Magnetic Ride chassis, which is standard on the Audi TTS. In addition, all models with the letter S in the name by default have a quattro all-wheel drive system.
The Audi TTS is powered by a supercharged four-cylinder 2.0 TFSI engine. The two-liter unit produces 272 hp. and 350 Nm of torque. Paired with a motor can work as a six-speed “mechanics” and a six-band “robot” S Tronic. Especially for TTS, both transmissions were reconfigured in a sporty way. Both manual and robotic gearboxes have shortened gear ratios. With the base six-speed coupe accelerates to a hundred kilometers per hour in 5.4 seconds, and with the "robot" - in 5.2.
The interior of the Audi TTS is also made in a sporty style - the steering wheel is beveled at the base, even the standard seats have good lateral support, and the pedals are fitted with pads. The rear wing on the trunk lid automatically raises at speeds above 120 km/h and disappears when the speedometer shows less than 80 km/h.
Serial production of the Audi TTS has been established in Germany.
