The official premiere of the new generation Audi TTS took place in Geneva. The general public is not yet allowed to see the car, but the editors of Autoua.net already have the first photos and technical specifications. A two-door with a two-liter turbo engine dropped half a centner of weight, became shorter (up to 4.18 meters) and narrower (1.83 meters). At the same time, the wheelbase has grown to 2.5 meters, which is almost 4 centimeters longer than its predecessor. The height has not changed. 

The new Audi TT is built on the aluminum-steel space frame Audi Space Frame. The new generation coupe will be offered with one of three engines. The base one will give out 184 petrol horses or 380 Nm of torque (the first hundred of such a car will submit in 7.2 seconds, the maximum speed is 235 km / h). A more powerful gasoline unit will develop 230 horsepower and 370 Nm of thrust (6 seconds to hundreds with mechanics and front-wheel drive, peak speed - 250 km / h). 

The same two-liter engine is also offered in a forced version for the hot modification of the TTS. There are already 310 horsepower, but the same 380 Nm of torque. The first hundred of the red all-wheel drive sports car is given in 4.7 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited to 250 kilometers per hour. The electronics of the car have also been updated. The quattro all-wheel drive transmission began to anticipate road conditions and change settings on the go. The top Audi TT is equipped with adaptive dampers, a six-speed S tronic and will allow the driver to turn off the stabilization system.

Matrix headlights have appeared in the list of options for the new Audi TT, which, as we remember, debuted on the restyled Audi A8 model. In the cabin you can find sports seats, LED lighting of interior elements, as well as heated seats. Behind the wheel of the new TTS is a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The Germans did not stint on other "screens". Small displays have even been built into the climate control buttons, which are now located logically - right on the air ducts.
