Audi TT Coupe - The debut of the second generation of the model took place in 2006. In 2010, the car went through a facelift. The bumpers have been slightly updated, and optional bi-xenon optics with LED elements have also appeared. But most importantly, the car received modern power units. In particular, a turbocharged two-liter “four”, which produces 211 hp. and 350 Nm of torque and at the same time, according to passport data, it is ready to consume 6.6 liters of fuel per hundred kilometers in mixed mode.
In addition to this unit, the range of engines for the Audi TT includes a 1.8-liter gasoline engine with 160 hp, as well as a 170-horsepower 2.0 TDI turbodiesel.
The base gearbox is a six-speed "mechanics". An alternative to a manual transmission is the S Tronic robotic box. For a gasoline 160-horsepower engine, its seven-speed version is offered, and for all other engines - a six-speed version.
The permanent all-wheel drive system is offered as an option only for modifications equipped with 2.0 TFSI and TDI engines. By default, the Audi TT is front-wheel drive.
The body and its design are made with a wide use of not only high-strength steel, but also aluminum. Acceleration to one hundred kilometers per hour, thanks to the lightweight shell of the coupe, takes from 7.8 to 5.7 seconds (data vary depending on the type of drive, gearbox and selected motor).
To diversify the exterior and give it a sporty touch, the optional S Line body kit will help, which includes a front bumper and side mirrors with a carbon fiber-style finish, as well as a rear bumper with a diffuser and exhaust pipes separated on the sides. In addition, the Audi TT offers several leather interior options, Hi-End acoustics and other options that are often offered in the premium segment.
Audi TT is produced at the company's Hungarian plant.
