Audi TT Roadster - The debut of the second generation of the model took place in 2006. In 2010, the car received a planned upgrade and facelift. The main difference between the roadster and the closed coupe, in addition to those changes that are above the window line, is the double version of the cabin. While the landing layout in Audi TT Coupe carried out according to the formula "2 + 2".
As standard, the roadster is equipped with a roof that must be folded and raised manually. An automatic top is available at an additional cost. With electric drives, the roof retracts in just 12 seconds, while it can be folded and installed at speeds up to 50 km / h. The rear windscreen is also equipped with electric drives, which is also included in the list of additional equipment.
In the rear, in addition to the safety arches, an active spoiler is installed. The rear wing extends automatically at speeds over 120 km/h.
As an option for the Audi TT Roadster, a suspension with electronically controlled shock absorbers is offered, as well as a “magic” S button, which translates both the chassis, the steering wheel and the gas pedal into sport mode.
The range of powertrains for the Ukrainian market includes two turbocharged gasoline engines - 1.8 TFSI (160 hp, 250 Nm) and 2.0 TFSI (211 hp, 350 Nm). Basic transmission - "mechanics" for six gears. An alternative to it is the S Tronic dual-clutch robotic box. For a 160-horsepower engine, its seven-speed version is offered, and for a 211-horsepower engine, a six-speed one.
The quattro permanent all-wheel drive system is only available in pair with a two-liter unit paired with a “robot”.
The entire Audi TT family, including the roadster, is produced at the company's plant in Hungary.
