The Audi S4 is powered by a 3.0 TFSI V6 petrol engine with a mechanical supercharger. Maximum power of 333 hp achieved in the range of 5,500-6,500 rpm, and the peak torque of 440 Nm - at 2,900-5,300 rpm.
The main feature of the quattro all-wheel drive system used on the Audi S4 is an active rear differential with variable thrust vectoring, which, when gas is added, “screws” the car into corners.
For a surcharge for the S4, the Audi drive select system is available, in which Efficiency and Individual have also been added to the preset driving modes Comfort, Auto and Dynamic. In the latter case, the driver can independently set the parameters of the steering, suspension, engine, all-wheel drive transmission and gearbox. In addition, in the S4, unlike the sedan A4 among the settings you can change the volume of the exhaust.
Serial production of the model has been established in the German city of Ingolstadt.
