Audi Q7 (4M) - The second generation of the Q7 crossover. The car was presented in January 2015 at the Detroit Auto Show. In June 2019, the company showed an updated version of Q7 in this body, but already with a design that has common features with a coupe-shaped crossover Audi Q8.
The most noticeable innovation in the appearance of the updated Audi brand SUV is a formidable radiator grille with emphasized massive vertical bars. In addition, the shape of the headlights has changed (LED by default and with laser-phosphor high beam for an extra charge) and the design of the bumpers, as well as the taillights. In addition to them, a horizontal chrome bar now flaunts on the fifth door. As a result of such transformations, the restyled Q7 has become 11 mm longer than the pre-reform version, and now the length of the car is 5063 mm.
Other changes can be seen inside the car. The central display of the multimedia system with a diagonal of 10.1 inches has moved under the central deflectors of the climate system, and under it there is an additional 8.6-inch touchscreen for climate control, seat massage and other "comfort" functions. At the same time, the dashboard, depending on the configuration, comes with analog scales or is completely virtual with a 12.3-inch screen. As an option, a projection display can also be installed on the Q7, on which the main information of the “tidy” is duplicated.
Audi Q7 is equipped with an 8-speed "automatic" and a permanent all-wheel drive system. Engines: 3.0 V6 TDI turbodiesel in 45 TDI modification develops 231 hp, and 286 hp in 50 TDI. The upgraded 3.0-liter gasoline engine with a turbocharger instead of a supercharger is installed on the 55 TFSI version, its output reaches 340 hp.

All modifications of the Q7 are required to have a “mild” hybrid superstructure that runs on a 48-volt network. The belt-driven starter-alternator quickly starts the engine and helps in the first seconds after the start of movement. When coasting at speeds between 55 and 160 km/h, the control system can turn off the engine for up to 40 seconds to save fuel and reduce harmful emissions. However, when braking, the internal combustion engine can be temporarily switched off for the same purpose, even at 22 km / h. A separate lithium-ion battery is hidden in the boot floor, reducing the capacity of the compartment by 25 liters to 865 liters. As an option for the updated Audi Q7, an air suspension and active electromechanical stabilizers are available, which were only available for the “charged” SQ7 at pre-style.
