For example, adaptive cruise control, in the event of a reduction in the distance to the car in front, will first signal with a color icon, and if there is no action on the part of the driver, it will apply smooth braking up to a complete stop.

Thanks to the replacement of the hydraulic booster with the “five” electric mechanism, Audi has become not only more economical, but also learned how to park on its own, as well as careful taxiing to prevent the car from accidentally leaving the lane if the maneuver was not authorized by the turn signal.

The range of power plants consists of gasoline and diesel engines ranging from 1.8 to 3 liters. Engine power varies from 170 to 272 hp, and acceleration to “hundreds”, depending on the selected unit, transmission and drive type, takes from 5.8 to 8.2 seconds.

An alternative to a manual gearbox on front-wheel drive versions is the Multitronic variator. Machines with a proprietary quattro permanent all-wheel drive system are equipped with a seven-band "robot" S Tronic.

Options for the Audi A5 include a mechatronic tunable chassis, Audi Drive Select, as well as a sports differential that, under power, helps the rear wheels follow the direction of the front wheels precisely.

In addition to the "civilian" versions, the company also offers more powerful modifications - a 333-horsepower Audi S5 and 450 strong Audi RS5. Serial production of the model is established in Germany.
